NEXLAB - The Networked Existence Laboratory

We live in a society that is highly interconnected - from power grids to communication networks, from water distribution systems to social networks. The NEXLAB, headed by Dr. Arunabha Sen, primarily focuses on the study of the fundamental science of such networks, or Network Science. The study of Network Science involves developing concepts and techniques in interdisciplinary domains such as Graph Theory, Algorithms and Complexity Theory, Machine Learning, Data Science and Information visualization, in order to address the complex needs of todays society. Due to the interdependent nature of the networks surrounding us, the study of Network Science finds applications in several networks that we rely on for our infrastructural, economic and social needs.
